Brickmaker Furniture

Brickmaker furniture is made from coarse reclaimed wood, which has been sanded and refinished but still preserves its original rustic feel. It's bolted planks are framed by a hand-welded steel base.

At Seibels, we custom build our own private line of architectural beds and offer a full range of design services to our customers at no extra charge. Come in to the store to see more examples of what we can do for you.

Swinging Bed $1,995.00

Our best-selling bed, this swinging bed is great for games, naps or a full night's rest and is built to hold as many as you can pile on. Each is custom made with your taste in mind. Our beds are treated for covered porches and include all the galvanized and stainless hardware needed for your application. The standard size is built to hold a twin mattress ($259) which we can also supply. Some people also prefer our custom burlap chain covers ($89) to soften the appearance of chain. Allow 6-8 weeks. Dimensions: 45W 82L 34H.

necklaces support a beautiful ministry that helps and comforts

families of babie in the NICU.

Artist, Rebekah Blocher has these words to say about her art and her mission:

"I just learned about a great ministry in Birmingham called Footprints and am so excited about getting involved with the good work they are doing. It's so cool how God orders our steps and puts people in our paths for His purposes.

I met Lurenda Avery, the director of Footprints, in the elevator at St. Vincents Hospital in Birmingham. Her arms were full of Christmas stockings she was delivering to the moms of babies in the NICU there. I was so touched.

When I was on bed rest last year for almost 11 weeks with a subchorionic bleed I worried day and night about little Jana. I would wake up in the middle of the night coughing and then stress out that the coughing would make the bleed worse. I would get so stressed out that my heart rate would go up. Then I would worry that the heavy heartbeating would also make the bleed worse. I couldnt go back to sleep until I got out the fetal monitor that I rented off the internet and heard her little heartbeat. So I can't imagine the stress and worry those parents must experience while their little ones are in the hospital. It must be such a helpless and scary feeling. Which is why I think the work Footprints is doing is so important. Footprints delivers gift bags every month to 7 different hospitals and offers prayer and support to the parents during a difficult time. Their mission statement is "Walking in God's Grace and Sharing His Love with Families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit" They have an active email prayer chain and offer other special events at the hospitals throughout the year. The week before I met Lurenda in the elevator, Santa had visited St. Vincents and had his picture made with all the babies.

We are excited to be including our heart necklaces in the gift bags they distribute and are in the process of designing a keepsake necklaces for moms who have lost babies."

We think rustic style mixes well with most anything. Combining two styles like bohemian and rustic can give a space and interesting, eclectic feel. And, with these cold gloomy winter days, we were ready for some color in the store! It reminds us that Spring is around the corner. Our rustic wood bed and twig side tables provide a great looking contrast to the velvet turquoise pillow and bright stripes of the vibrant bed linens. Decorating with Vintage Water SKis

Remember those old wooden water skis you learned to ski on as a child? Well, go get them out of your boathouse, wipe the dust off, and get inspired! Here are several ideas of creative ways to repurpose those old Dick Popes and Cypress Gardens.

These are some images from our store. We have a local artist who is repurposing these great old skis into coat racks (top left), wine racks (top right), and mirrors (bottom right.) How cute to hang a water ski coat rack on your back porch to hang towels and life vests from at the lake! These adorable vintage reproduction signs are a great for lake houses too. They can be personalized to say the name of any lake or even the name of your cabin.
